By now you’re probably familiar with our Black & White Flower decals. But what you haven’t known all this time is that they have a secret superpower. That’s right. These little babies are actually your new life-size coloring book. But guess what? Unlike boring old coloring books, you can color these flowers again, and again, and again, and…
You get the picture. And that picture is in color.
So, how does it work? Take our hand and follow us. We promise it will be just as exciting as when Dorothy stepped into OZ.
Cut the decals
CUT them? We know that seems scary because you just spent money on your brand new Black & White Flowers, but we promise this is an okay thing to do. The decals come on giant sheets, so you actually have to cut them so you can…
Arrange them on the wall
Anywhere you’d like! Layer and space the blooms to your tastes. Cluster them together to make a bouquet or space them throughout an entire room—your walls, your rules. Just tack the decals up with painter’s tape so you can assess your design before sticking!
Peel off the paper
There’s an adhesive paper back to every decal. Once you’re content with the look you’ve created, slowly peel that back off, sticking as you go. Once that’s done, peel off the front paper, revealing your devastatingly handsome decals.
PRO TIP: If you’ve arranged your decals around corners, windowsills, or trim, use an X-acto knife for precision. It also helps make the design look more natural.
Gather your markers
We used Crayola Washable Markers in fun neon colors. If you want to re-color again and again, we highly recommend using a washable marker.
Start to Color!
**NOTE - We used Crayola Washable Markers to allow us the option to wipe off and color again.**
We used two complementary colors on the same flower for a realistic look, but you’re the artist here! And don’t worry, if you mess up, get tired of your chosen colors and want new ones, or simply miss the Black & White version, the marker easily erases with a wet paper towel or rag. Even if you color outside of the lines and hit the wall by accident, you’re covered!
Rinse & Repeat
Don’t worry, if you get bored of your chosen colors, want new ones, or simply miss the original Black & White version, the marker easily erases with a wet towel, rag, or sponge. Even if you color outside the lines or hit the wall by accident, you’re covered!
For once, you actually can let the kids color on the walls.
